The District Site Base Decision Making Committee met on September 18, 2006 in the district office. Members present: Quinn Unke, LeNora Foy, Ann English, Tod English, Joe Foreman, Simone Barlow, Amy Gladden, Jennifer Day, Gene Glover

The meeting was called to order at 4:25. Items discussed:

Amanda Stubblefield and Jennifer Day presented the district dyslexia program offered by the school.

Members also were given a copy of the district substitute handbook to look over.

The Adequate Yearly Progress report for the district was discussed and reviewed by Mr. Glover.

The members were given a copy of the 2006-07 district plan. We will be looking at the plan at each meeting as a guideline to make sure we are following the plan for the school year. We will be checking the progress and making sure that the goals and objectives are being addressed as a school district and monies have been spent accordingly.

Each member received a copy of the Site Based Decision Making Administrative Procedures. There is one vacancy for the elementary professional staff. All other elected (teachers) committee members will remain on the committee for the 2006-07 school year.

The committee made up a tentative calendar for future meetings for the 2006-07 District Site Base Decision Making Committee. Dates scheduled are: September 18, October 23, November 13, February 5, March 26
