Junior High Mathematics
I graduated from Latexo High School in 2005.
I attended Blinn College for two years and transferred to Stephen F. Austin State University where I then graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2012.
I have a Bachelors degree and certifications in all subjects for Elementary Education (PreK through 6th grade).
Other certifications I possess are Mathematics 4th through 8th grades.
Every year I attend the Conference for Advancement of Mathematics Teachers (CAMT), attend online workshops and countless professional development hours throughout the year.
Began teaching at Kennard ISD in 2014 and have been here ever since teaching Mathematics primarily. I have taught Mathematics for grades 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th. Also, taught science for grades 4th and 5th.
Currently I teach Mathematics for grades 7 & 8 and also do Elementary Mathematics Intervention for grades 3—6.
Started teaching in 2012 at Brandon Elementary in Lufkin.
I taught 3rd grade ELA and Mathematics.
I have 1 daughter, Emma, who attends Kennard ISD.
Together we have 2 dogs.
I have a love of all things health related. I am an avid runner and train for marathons with my mother. I love being outside whether it is as the beach, running my miles, playing with my daughter, swimming, paddle boating, playing volleyball, etc…
