
The Kennard High School Student Council would like to invite local Veterans to attend and participate in our Veterans Day Program, Friday, November 8, 2024. The program will be held at 9:00 AM in the KISD gym. Following the program will be a breakfast reception for our Veterans. If anyone in your family is a Veteran and will be in attendance during our program, please RSVP by Tuesday, November5, 2024 by filling out this Google Form, returning the form sent out by the school or calling the high school office (936) 655-2121.

National School Lunch Week (NSLW) in 2024 will be held from October 14–18. The theme for 2024 is “School Lunch Pirates: Find Your Treasure!”. The goal of the week is to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch and to increase participation in the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).


Today the Kennard Volunteer Fire Department came and visited our Pre-K class. The students learned valuable information from the department about safety rules and precautions to take at home in an emergency.
