Today the Kennard Volunteer Fire Department came and visited our Pre-K class. The students learned valuable information from the department about safety rules and precautions to take at home in an emergency.

October is National Principals Month, which gives us the perfect opportunity to recognize that position's significant influence. Principals set the tone for the building, keeping things running smoothly from the cafeteria to classrooms and the playground. We would like to thank our two Principals, Mrs. Stevenson and Mrs. Johnson for all they do for our school and our students. Your work does not go unnoticed, we truly appreciate both of you!

In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Kennard ISD will be having a Pink Out Week ALL next week. Starting Tuesday, October 8, 2024, the motto is, "Real Tigers Wear Pink," show your Tiger Spirit by wearing PINK head to toe. Wednesday, October 9, 2024, the motto is, "Barbie vs Ken," dress as either your favorite, Barbie or Ken. Thursday, October 11, 2024, the motto of the day is, "Peace Out, Breast Cancer," dress as a Hippie, wearing as much tie dye as you can. The last day, Friday, October 11, 2024, the motto is, "Team Up Against Breast Cancer," wear your favorite team or sports jersey.
